I am reading this wonderful book “Color , a natural history of the palette” by Victoria Finlay. Its so interesting how back in the day they created colors for artists: INDIAN YELLOW – an obsolete lake of euxanthic acid made in India by heating the urine of cows fed on mango leaves. Or: EMERALD GREEN – the most brilliant of greens, now universally rejected because it is dangerous poison… Sold as insecticide.
So inspired to use and capture every color, made me go around my house and take pics of all the colors and textures that surround me. Take a look.
