One-of-a-kind print

Classic Color, a digital print shop in Chicago, was called upon to convert a 2013 BMW M6 Coupe into a mobile printing press. The project was designed to showcase the M6′s ability to go from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds while creating unique prints for a direct mail piece. Ink dispensers above the M6′s tires spray out a squid-like plume onto the tires which create artful impressions on a paper track as the car accelerates. Pretty cool right?

This one minute ad for Getty Images is indeed, the best use of stock images I’ve ever seen. According to the description posted to YouTube by ad agency AlmapBBDO, copywriter Sophie Schoenburg and art director Marcus Kotlhar sifted through more than 5000 stock Getty images to end up with 873. The result, “From Love To Bingo In 873 Images,” flashes 15 images per second, a pace fast enough to create the sensation of the story of a long marriage unfolding in a minute. American Airlines Rebrand


American Airlines has unveiled a new brand identity. The classic 1968 Massimo Vignelli logo has been replaced with a 3D ‘flight’ symbol’ that features an eagle in red, white and blue. The brand is expected to promote its new look through an upcoming advertising campaign. This video explains the creative process behind the redesign.
